Viennese by birth, Isidor Clinton Rubin graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in 1905. Dr. Rubin was among the first to apply x-rays in the practice of gynecology. He is perhaps best known for what is called the Rubin Test, aimed at determining the patency of the fallopian tubes.
